No. 06 Questions & Answers

What readers usually ask.

What time should we plan lunch?

12:30–2 p.m. is the window. This falls naturally 2–3 hours into a six-hour Saturday, allowing two estate stops beforehand and one final stop on the Escarpment after.

Can we eat at an estate vineyard and a pub on the same day?

Yes. A typical route pairs one sit-down winery lunch with a casual stop—Ravine for 90 minutes, then The Oast House or Niagara Pubs for 45 minutes. Both fit into a 6-hour day.

Do we need reservations in advance, or will the chauffeur handle it?

We reserve the restaurant 48 hours ahead and confirm wine-pairing menus. You arrive without making a call—Adrien has already confirmed party count, timing, and any allergies.

What if someone in the group doesn't drink wine?

Every restaurant we book offers non-alcoholic pairings or can substitute juice or sparkling water at no extra cost. We note this when we call ahead.

Is a picnic-lunch option available instead of a restaurant?

Yes. We stop at The Cheese Shoppe and Grana for 20 minutes, load a curated board, and find a private gravel pull-off or winery picnic table at no extra charge.

Can we add extra wine stops or skip lunch altogether?

The itinerary we provide is a baseline—we adjust freely for your pace. Four wineries without lunch, two wineries and two meals, or six stops with a picnic all fit the 6-hour window. Revised quote arrives within 30 minutes.

What's included in the "fixed price for the day"?

Vehicle, chauffeur, fuel, driver gratuity, parking at all stops, and a printed wine-tasting notes sheet. Restaurant bills, personal tastings, and wine purchases are separate.

How far in advance should we book?

Six weeks is ideal for summer Saturdays; 48 hours works for off-season (November–March). We hold one car per week for confirmed wine-tour clients.

No. 07 Letters from Readers
Adrien knew which restaurants held tables for wine-tour groups and booked us in on Thursday for a Saturday without us making a single call. He also knew to call ahead about a gluten allergy. That level of detail changed the day.
We were four people trying to visit six wineries in one day. The driver suggested three wineries and one lunch spot, showed us why that rhythm works, and we finished by 4 p.m. still sober enough to enjoy the ride home.
